The most detailed haircutting guide ever
M. Nellison (from Downs, USA) posted this review on July 30, 2014

The Beginner's Guide To Cutting Hair is the most detailed haircutting guide I’ve gotten so far. It’s so easy to understand and all the tips and tricks are there. I really enjoyed learning from this guide, and I highly recommend it to everyone. With The Beginner's Guide To Cutting Hair, I was able to start a small business as a haircutter in our place. I charge less than what salons charge, so even if I’m a beginner, I get a lot of clients.

There's a reason why this is a paid guide

There are so many guides on the Internet when it comes to cutting hair, but my suggestion is not to rely on those free guides because they can end up misguiding you like that one I tried. My husband ended up looking like an egg and he wanted to strangle me for it. Good thing I found The Beginner's Guide To Cutting Hair. This is the only guide that taught us the right way to cut hair. We now cut each other’s hair as well as our kids’ hair, and even some friends. It’s very easy to follow and techniques are specifically for beginners, so it’s perfect.

This taught me how to cut hair the right way

The Beginner's Guide To Cutting Hair taught me how to cut hair in the simplest way possible. It’s just a simple eBook but it has everything that I needed to learn about cutting hair. I can now cut the hair of my kids, so that helps me save a lot of money. I also cut for neighbors and friends in exchange for cake or ice cream or whatever food I fancy. It’s a nice skill to have, and you can be popular in your place simply by cutting hair. Hahahaha! I am planning to take my skills to the next level now by learning hairstyling as well.

I will never spend too much for a haircut ever again

When I first got this and started practicing, my husband wouldn’t let me touch his hair. I had to convince him over and over again to let me try, and now I’m his personal hairstylist! He’s also learned how to cut mine, and we save so much money monthly on styling cost. The guide is very detailed. You really get to see step-by-step how to cut hair the right way and how to copy styles from magazines. That’s a bit on the intermediate side, but you just learn as you go along. You learn how to part hair the right way, how to cut each section to achieve the look you’re going for. It’s not that hard, and I will never be paying too much for a haircut ever again!

This surely made haircutting so simple and easy

I have 2 girls and 1 boy at home, and of course, their hair needs constant trimming. It gets really expensive when they ask for haircut money at the same time, so I thought of learning haircutting myself. They were scared to let me do it at first, but when they saw the result in their father, they agreed to let me try, and the result is salon-like! This guide made everything so easy and simple for me. I read the guide and then tried it on my hubby, and now I can already do different styles. Some of our neighbors come to me for cheap trims, even my friends and their kids trust me with their hair. My husband says I should get a formal hairstyling course, and I’m seriously considering!

So fun!

This is 100% recommended to beginners in hairstyling! I enjoyed it so much that I’ve also shared it with my friends. This is really gonna save you so much money. My roomies and I are now styling each other so we don’t have to go to the salon anymore.

I'm now the family's official stylist

For 20 bucks and a few hours of practice, you will be saving up on hairstyling expenses for the rest of your life. This is perfect for mothers. I have several kids and it’s a pain when I need to get their hairs trimmed. I spend a lot of money for that particularly since I have 2 girls who love changing hairstyles from time to time. Now I can do most of the basic hairstyles on my own. I can also give them a trim whenever they want now. I can even trim my own hair. I also learned how to shave my boys’ heads the right way. For a big family like mine, skills like this one mean a lot.

The instructions are so easy to follow... it's worth every penny

I like The Beginner's Guide To Cutting Hair because it’s really made for beginners. Like you can just go and grab a scissor and follow the instructions. I first tried it out on cheap wigs. I didn’t want to mess up the hair of my family, so I got like 5 cheap wigs and started cutting them. I then started practicing with “volunteer” family members. People do charge a lot for such a simple task. If you only want to have your hair trimmed, then there’s no need to go to the salon, or if you want it styled a bit you can also learn some basic hairstyling from here, and with a little practice, if you already know how hair falls around the scalp, you will be able to figure out how to copy certain styles you see in magazines. I’m already learning that now. I cut hair for my friends and family now, so I get plenty of practice. I highly suggest you go and grab The Beginner's Guide To Cutting Hair if you want to save money, or just have a new skill in your stash.

The amount hair cutters charge these days is ridiculous! I have two girls who want to get a hair cut every now and then, so I really took the time to practice how to cut hair. The Beginner's Guide To Cutting Hair is awesome because you get all the techniques you need to learn to get started. The techniques here also work for different kinds of hair because they’re just basic. They’re like the core skills you need to have so you can come up with hairstyles of your own. So far, I cut the hairs of my family and some close friends, and it’s saving us all a lot of money. I’ve also learned how to cut my own hair with the help of this book. Some of my friends have also joined the bandwagon and are now learning to cut hair to save money.

Awesome learning material!

I save a lot of money cutting my own hair and those of my husband and kids. Sometimes, I even sideline as a haircutter for some friends, and they give me treats like a bottle of beer or some cheesecake for it. It’s a great skill to learn and this book makes it easy. Following the instructions on this book, I did great for my husband’s hair the first time I tried cutting it.

Very clear and comprehensive guide.

The book is definitely worth the money!

Now I can cut hair anytime I want. It takes 15 to 20 minutes, depending on how much cutting is necessary. So I not only have saved thousands of dollars, I've probably saved months of traveling and waiting time. Buying this book was definitely worth it!

This is pure saving

I was tired of paying $20 for a haircut and not always being real satisfied with the result. And as much as the cost, I resented the amount of time I had to spend scheduling, waiting, etc. It's possible to give yourself a real decent haircut. It's all in the book.
