The Secret recipes in this guide are amazing! They have totally changed the way I look at restaurant food. I used to have no problems spending a lot of money when eating out as long as I get the taste that I want. But since I got this cookbook, I found out just how easy it is to cook their “gourmet” food in my kitchen and for a lot lower than the price they go for in restaurants. I am so happy that I found this because now my family can eat all the restaurant goodies they want during the weekends!

America's Secret Recipes is one of my favorite cookbooks! It’s got amazing recipes from different restaurants, which my husband and kids love! We enjoy cooking on weekends instead of eating out and that also help the famil save some money. Another thing that I like about this is that the instructions are simple and easy to follow. This is one of the mainstays in my cookbook rack in the kitchen. I think all moms will enjoy serving this great food to their family.

I have learned so many recipes from this guide, and I love them all! I have captured KFC’s chicken so well, and my husband was really crazy for it. The kids love the desserts I prepare for them, even if they haven’t tasted the restaurant versions yet. I thoroughly enjoyed this cookbook. It’s one of the best in my collection because of its uniqueness. I can’t recommend any specific recipe from here because I like them all! Go check this out!

I like most of the recipes, but not the presentation

There are some recipes here that capture the real thing, but there are also some that just try too hard. They prolly should have marked recipes that are just similar and those that are really the same. I have some background in cooking, and I do follow instructions well, so I’m pretty sure I’m capturing the recipes as they are. America's Secret Recipes is very promising, but they need to polish some of their recipes and their presentation too. I think the way the cookbook is presented doesn’t capture the real quality of the recipes. I can’t explain it but I’m a cookbook collector, so I’m probably expecting too much from an online product. I would have preferred a print version, but I guess they only offer it as an eBook. That takes away some classiness from the product. This one is supposed to be a collector’s item cookbook, but it doesn’t turn out to be so because of the way it’s presented. I tried printing it out but it came out nasty and very cheap. My verdict is that if you’re just after the recipes, then go try this because I don’t think you’ll find most of these online. But if you want a good cookbook to add to your collection or to put under the coffee table, then this is not it.

I believe this now! When I first saw this I was skeptical because I know that these recipes are top secret. My husband and I both love eating I restaurants. We’ve done so since we started dating. However, now that we have 3 little girls to think about, we’ve started looking for better alternatives. The young career woman that was me in the past had no interest in cooking. I dined out everyday and didn’t care how much I spent on good food. Now, I’m slowly learning how to cook with the help of these cookbooks I get on the Internet and in bookstores.

This is among the most helpful and most unique cookbooks I’ve ever tried. I got this primarily for the KFC original recipe because I couldn’t believe they got the right mix of their 11 herbs and spices. And it’s great! It’s exactly like KFCs. I got inspired to try others too, like Kenny’s BBQ sauce and Applebee’s steaks. You’d be surprised just how easy it is to make these. I’m still in the easy section, but I’ll be moving on to more difficult ones as my cooking skills improve. I’m planning to try some recipes from Olive Garden next weekend when my in-laws come over. Wish me luck!

These are indeed America's Secret Recipes! I don’t know if there are some variations for the others, but most of the ones I’ve tried so far are pretty close. Of course it varies depending on how well I follow the instructions! Hahahaha! But my guests enjoy my cooking, so I’m happy with it.

I’m so happy that I finally have a way to prepare my husband’s and my kid’s favorite dishes in my own kitchen. I’m a mom of 3, so sometimes it’s a struggle choosing which restaurant to dine in because they all have their own tastes. Now that I already have this cookbook, they can have their favorite meals whenever they want. I use these recipes to reward them for good grades, for cleaning their room, for not wanting to strangle each other for the entire week. So far, I believe they’re enjoying being rewarded with good food. I’m not a very good cook, but since the instructions here are all step by step and the measurements are precise, I got no worries. The cooking newsletter is also great. I learned a lot from it even if it just ran for 3 months. All in all, this is a really really good cookbook package. The concept is amazing, and they managed to come up with awesome identical to almost identical recipes too. They’re definitely very impressive.

I’m glad that the family doesn’t have to go out and spend so much money to enjoy delicious food. I love cooking, and I’m quite good at it. America's Secret Recipes helps me capture all the goodness of restaurant food in my own kitchen. It feel so wonderful seeing your family devour your cooking like mad. My children are very appreciative of my talent, and they usually give some feedback like which ones taste like the real thing and which ones don’t. Some of those that I was able to capture the exact same taste are Ikea’s Swedish Meatballs, Hard Rock’s Love Me Tenders, and Outback’s Coco Shrimps. I’ve tried KFC’s original recipe twice, but the kids say there’s a little bit of difference. I think it could be because mine is a little healthier than that of KFC. Some people reported capturing the exact same taste of the chicken. Maybe it’s just my mistake or something. All in all, I’m happy with this book, and I highly recommend this for everyone who loves cooking.

I’m a bad cook on my own, but with a recipe guide, I can be the world’s best chef. That’s what happens when you can follow instructions really really well. Anyway, I got America's Secret Recipes a few months ago, and our weekends have never been the same. My kids always wait for what I’m going to serve them. The also love inviting friends over to taste my cooking. I bet they’re that proud of their mom! I can cook food that tastes exactly like what you will find in fast food and restaurants (without the nasty preservatives and boatload of MSG, yikes!). I don’t know how the author managed to collect all of these recipes, but I assume he’s a really talented guy. I’ve already cooked a lot of these recipes and most if not all of them taste like the real thing. If there’s one recipe book you should really really have in your kitchen, this is it.

I’ve read a lot of good stuff about Ron Douglas in different cooking websites, so I searched for his cookbook. I’m pretty good at following cookbook recipes. As long as there’s a recipe laid out in front of me, I can make delicious food. America's Secret Recipes is awesome. I’ve tried a lot of recipes from here and they’re all spot on! My family and I don’t have to go out on weekends anymore. We can just have a small cook fest, and eat at home. We save a great deal of money, while eating really good food. Some of our friends even come over to taste the food we come up with and judge whether or not they’re like the real thing. We often pass their taste test. I think Ron Douglas really put a great deal of effort on this book. This comment isn’t solicited at all. I just thought of thanking the author for his efforts and congratulating him for a job well done.

Delicious food on a budget!

This cookbook is perfect for those who want to eat delicious food on a budget. Since having a baby, my boyfriend and I have ben scrimping so much on our food budget, so we rarely eat out. With this cookbook, I’m able to prepare really sumptuous meals for him without having to leave the home or spend so much. Ron Douglas is very generous to include so many recipes in one book. After buying this, I didn’t purchase any other cookbook for months because it took me quite a while to try them all out. The restaurant recipes are fantastic! They taste exactly the same as restaurant food! I’m sure Ron spent so much time and money on researching these recipes and testing and tweaking them to perfection. Getting this cookbook at $30 is definitely a steal.

This is my favorite cookbook right now. I serve one recipe for my family every weekend and they love them. This captured the KFC chicken perfectly. Even the gravy in the book is exactly the same! I don’t care if it’s not the exact recipe they use as long as it tastes just like the real thing. I’ve also tried the recipes from Outback, and they are great. My husband and kids loved them!

I’ve also cooked for family gatherings using these recipes, and the other moms in our family begged for the recipes. I’m planning to put up a catering business featuring these recipes soon. I’m sure it will be a total hit.

Educating the Consumer to Eat Healthy

This is a great concept for those who like to eat healthy, but also appreciate a tasty meal. KFC would do well to use the America's Most Wanted Recipe instead of their deep fried in artery blocking hydrogenated oil version.

The American consumer needs to get smarter and this book is a step toward that education.

I have made many of the recipes, and have been thrilled every time, so have all the friends and family that I have cooked for.
Everybody who gets to taste my cooking says how amazing it is that these recipes taste just like the restaurants.

I was in the restaurant field for close to 4 years, and I know that everything is premade, boxed, bagged, and full of blubber ready to be assembled. I love that I get the same great flavor, with out the excess fat and preservatives. It's healthy, full of flavor, and I already have all of the ingredients in my kitchen.
