Do not buy

I would give this book 0 stars if it would let me. I bought this yesterday and I am gutted! This is either a rip off of Magic of Making Up by TW Jackson or is a repackaged version possibly by one and the same person.

It promised so much and that it was completely unique and I find I already possess this information in a better format in Magic of Making up. One of the testimonials stated that it worked on long distance relationships and gave the exact wording for a suggested letter to your ex. Well this ebook contains no such detail (but Magic of Making Up sure does which prompts me to think there has been some duplication of testimonials).

The site tells us that all the other books do is say don't contact your ex for a month and work on yourself. Hey well guess what this one does! No kidding!

There are no magical psychological tricks here or hot buttons.

Unless you count removing an imaginary speck of dust from your exes clothing as an 'Instant Reconnection Technique.' Yes this is supposed to trick your ex's subconcious mind into believing you are still a couple. This is also in Magic Of Making Up using the same terminology.

Pushing his hot buttons is basically not contacting him. This is sound advice and is in every manual of this nature. In many, many cases not contacting your ex is going to cause them to turn their head hence the testimonials of ex's having second thoughts quite quickly. Some of us know this already and there is not much in here beyond that and if you have the Magic of Making Up you have this book. I genuinely feel exploited. Someone on this site has said that they did not like Magic of Making Up and requested a refund but have not had a reply. I have had the same experience with this so far. AVOID AVOID

An Amazing Book

I have no doubt (unlike other authors) that Bob Grant is a qualified and experienced psychologist/therapist. This book provides so much advice and help as well as practical instructions. It is so much more than just how to get your ex back - it goes through how to evaluate whether you should as well and what to do when you have him back.

The first aspect worked like a charm, I was getting very jittery and starting to doubt the process but almost at the 11th hour it happened! I am just not sure I handled the next stage correctly though so am a bit stuck and am now scrabbling around for other ideas & MAGIC buttons. There is excellent advice for women only in Bob Grant’s book. I am sure he is a genuine expert with integrity and I have found this book immensely helpful.

Very unique

I bought this book years ago. This is a very spiritual book. This book helped me in a number of ways, it had a very calming effect and helped me keep faith bt mainly it opened my mind to different ways of thinking about why things happen (eg. how we can 'attract' events into our life).

It needs pointing out that this book is based on 'universal principles' or the 'law of attraction' (as per The Secret).

Therefore it would not be for everyone.

I have not read this book but

I was looking to buy it and googled the author's name and found him in a huge thread on forum called Church of Google. This is a forum for technical users & seems to be about getting websites higher up the search ratings to achieve the most hits. The discussion was around his comments that he was selling this e-product about getting your ex back that stood to net him $150,000 per year. There were a whole host of comments from the other forum users about the morality of what he was doing along with the claims he makes (eg. He offers his home address for complainers but without the zip which from what was said this is apparently useless in US & Canada. On the site aimed at women he claims he is a psychologist & on the site aimed at men he claims he’s a pick up artist. The people who knew him well via the forum seemed surprised he was in this market and this thread ran for a very long time. My feeling was that he was an excellent internet marketeer, nothing more. I never bought that book based on those findings. Someone on this site recommends this book as they purchased it but I did not trust it based on what I found.

By no means a bad book

I think I got this book to try to fend off a previous break up Not sure it worked for that purpose but having broke up with someone after 2.5 years I have been scouring it. It is not the only product I have on this & certainly not the worst. If you have never bought a book on this subject before, you could do far worse. I think the book does over promise almost magical solutions & goes a bit too far. Most of these books start out with the same idea basically take a massive step back. That is SOUND advice whatever your situation. I think that MOMU offers sound advice & plenty of practical steps. All of these would help a person in the throes of a break up & broken heart. It covers many aspects of what you are going through. It is by no means a magic cure & I think some of the steps in approaching one's ex are a bit cheesy but on the other hand, nothing ventured... There is definitely helpful advice here & some very good gender specific advice. I recently bought 'Breakup Reversed' by Robert Parsons. This is virtually the same book as MOMU, & I am tempted to believe it is the same book repackaged possibly by the same person. It promised all kinds of magic but there is nothing new at all. I have requested a refund under the 60 day no quibble guarantee but no reply yet not even automated. I will update if that changes. Bob Grant does a book on this issue for women which I have I have found that more helpful than any. Someone here recommends Get Him Back Forever by Matt Huston but I have serious concerns on that one and have commented under it. Back to MOMU, I think you could do far worse & would be a very good book if you haven’t got any others on this subject. I am sorry to go on so much but this subject is dear to my heart & know the feelings of hurt & desperation that go with this & how hard it is to find a real, unbiased review on this type of product which means we can easily get ripped off when we are most vulnerable.

Interesting

There are some real nuggets in here about how men are and how to relate to them. Some of the things I have read here have really opened my eyes and stayed imprinted on my brain since reading it (which is 2 or 3 years ago now I must admit) A lot of what is in here came easy to me as a girly girl anyway. Some of the writing style was though a bit flowery for me. To explain some of it, it goes into fairy tale style. I am not sure that works for me. There is a section for advice on every situation but I personally felt this book was of most help to those already in a committed relationship. Don't get me wrong, there is a full section dedicated to single girls but that didn't appear to me to be as useful as the stuff aimed towards those in a relationship.

Mimi is one of my favourite relationship authors

I have every product Mimi Tanner has written. One of them she sent me for free after I made some kind comments to one of her newsletter emails. If you are wondering whether to buy anything she writes I would suggest you sign up to her emails first. The information in those alone is off the scale in terms of usefulness. I keep them all in a folder and refer back to them. I am currently sending relevant ones on to a friend to help her with a particular situation.

You can buy from Mimi with confidence. I happen to know she is a real live person absolutely dedicated to her work. She does have some support staff but I have had the pleasure of personal correspondence with her from time to time. I have learnt this year that she has lost both her parents. From things she has said in the past, a refund guarantee is upheld. I certainly haven't asked for one. I am sorry to gush - I know you would think I am linked to her in some way. I can assure you I am not. I live in the UK and am just a great fan of her work - she has never let me down. This book gives you everything you need in every eventuality about contacting guys when you really are unsure. Think along the lines of 'Rules' but with a reality check for the age we live in. Think specicific, real, useful, step by step guidance.

Insightful, a keeper to refer back to often

I bought this book a number of years ago and have recently revisited it. This is one of the best books I have purchased on relationships in terms of the insight it provides. I found it very helpful. I have bought a lot of relationship products on the internet some better quality than others and some that are just an absolute waste of time and money. Anyone can claim anything on the internet but what I have read from this and one of his other books leads me to believe he genuinely is a qualified and experienced therapist in this area. If you are not open to the idea of the woman being the woman in the relationship and her power coming from there (not in any oppressed way at all) then you may struggle. As I have said, I have had this book a number of years and having revisited it I found from my own relationships I have done myself a disservice by not referring back to it more often to keep certain things in mind. Bob Grant also references materials he has used in his research as recommended further reading (no not affiliated ebooks - real actual books that you can find on amazon) which I found helpful. I would say buy with confidence.
