This is a good book but only for beginners. It will help you figure out which position you will be best for. You’ll learn the boundaries and responsibilities of each position, and what you should do to train for a certain position once you’ve chosen which one to focus on. These are important, maybe more important than skills as these are the bases of soccer strategy.

I play soccer, but not professionally. I do have a team back at home, and we compete with other amateur soccer teams around the neighborhood. Since we lack formal soccer training, our main problem is usually shifting positions. We are trained only for certain positions, and we lack the flexibility winning soccer players should have. Through the help of this simple guide, my team and I trained for different positions, which gives us an advantage over other amateur soccer teams.
