I’ve tried free plans too like most others, but they’re just too disappointing I didn’t even get started with them. As someone who’s just picked up the hobby recently, I needed something as detailed as this, so I won’t waste any time or materials. This is also quite cheap. I’ve seen others amounting to a few hundred dollars, and I’m not building a ship! With this one I get several plans for less than a hundred bucks, so it’s perfect.

If you’re new to boat making and you’re working on your own, I suggest using this instead of the free plans you will see online. At first they will seem the same, but once you get started, you’ll see the differences. Most free plans have incomplete instructions, and somewhere in the middle, you will be left to make decisions on your own. It’s hard to do that especially if you’re just on your first boat. When I was starting out, I tried working with free plans, but they were so difficult to work with that I ended up buying this. It’s such a waste almost starting from scratch again. When I used a plan from this collection, I finished my first boat in just a week. Also, I learned tips and tricks on getting supplies at bargain prices. If you’re new to boat making and you really want to enjoy it instead of getting a headache this is a must-have.
