Lee Hayward

Lee Hayward is a powerlifter, bodybuilder, and muscle building coach who has helped bodybuilding beginners shed fat, build muscles, and develop a strong body, regardless of their current body condition. He authored the Blast Your Bench program, which guides aspiring bodybuilders in improving their bench press ability.

Lee gained interest in bodybuilding when he was 12 years old, after watching ArArnold Schwarzenegger in the Conan movies. He was amazed at Arnold’s physique and wanted to look like him. He then started doing push ups and sit ups in his bedroom, determined to look like a superhero someday. That Christmas, he even asked his parents for a weight set, which he got in the form of a York barbell and dumbbell set. After getting his little home gym, he worked out daily with the support and motivation of his dad.

When Lee entered high school, he continued working out and reading all bodybuilding resources he could get his hands on. He read books and magazines and watched bodybuilding contests on television. Bodybuilding became his obsession, and he spent as much time as he could on exercise and nutrition. When he was 17 years old, he joined his first bodybuilding contest, The 1995 Newfoundland Provincials, and he has competed almost every year after that.

Lee learned about the Internet when he was in college. At this point, he setup his website, leehayward.com and worked on improving it year after year. He added as much useful information as he could, and through it, he helped thousands of beginner bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts all over the world. Within a span of 12 years, his website became one of the top bodybuilding and fitness sites on the web.

Just recently, Lee was chosen as one of YouTube’s Next Trainers, and he is now working with the website’s team in improving his channel and online presence.
